Central Hub for Travel Across Vancouver and the Metro Area – Skytrain Lines<\/h3>\n

\"FalseYou cannot find an area in Vancouver with as many easy and convenient transportation routes as False Creek Flats! Travelling within Vancouver and the Metro Vancouver area is nearly limitless with multiple SkyTrain stations within walking distance, covering all SkyTrain Lines available (Expo Line, Millennium Line, Canada Line).<\/p>\n

Olympic Village and Broadway SkyTrain Station – Canada Line<\/h4>\n

False Creek Flats sits in between two Canada Line SkyTrain stations which can be accessed by foot, bike or a short bus trip away. The Canada Line connects Downtown Vancouver with the Vancouver International Airport in Richmond within 20 minutes. The Downtown Vancouver terminus station of the Canada Line connects riders with the SeaBus to North Vancouver, the Expo Line to Burnaby and Surrey, and the West Coast Express to the Fraser Valley. There are also future plans to develop an East-West running extension from the Millennium Line SkyTrain. This would run from the Broadway station and will take you out toward UBC in the coming years.<\/p>\n

VCC Clark SkyTrain Station – Millennium and Expo Line<\/h4>\n

VCC Clark Station is a central stop for both the Millennium and Expo Line SkyTrain. These two lines provide easy access to many of the Metro Vancouver cities including Burnaby, New Westminster, Coquitlam and more! This coverage will also soon include the extension of the Millennium Line which will take you East-West across Vancouver, all the way out to Arbutus.<\/p>\n

As of January 24, 2023 the Broadway Subway has progressed to the first tunnel boring machine (TBM) reaching the second station<\/a> along the extension. An elevated track will connect the existing VCC Clark SkyTrain station to the future Great Northern Way-Emily Carr University SkyTrain station, at which point the SkyTrain will go westward underground.<\/p>\n

Cross-Country and International Travel Through Pacific Central Station<\/h3>\n

On top of the easy travel within Vancouver, False Creek Flats also contains the Pacific Central Station. This Station is the western hub for Via Rail, Amtrak and Greyhound transportation services.<\/p>\n

Cross Canada Travel – Via Rail<\/h4>\n

Pacific Central Station is the terminus station for cross-country rail travel across Canada. From this station, Via Rail can take you all the way out to the East Coast of Canada including Toronto and even further east!<\/p>\n

International Pacific Coast Travel – Amtrak<\/h4>\n

Pacific Central Station is also the terminus station for rail travel south along the Pacific Coast. From this station located in False Creek Flats, you can board a train via Amtrak to destinations such as Seattle, Oregon, etc!<\/p>\n

Nation-wide and International Travel – Greyhound Bus Lines<\/h4>\n
