About Brewery Creek at False Creek Flats, Vancouver East
Originally built around 1904, Brewery Creek building once formed part of the Deering and Marstrand brewery complex, later becoming Fells Candy Factory. Today, it is a protected heritage building and one of few surviving buildings from the early days of Mount Pleasant when the waters from brewery creek used to run through the area. The building was redeveloped by Kasian Kennedy Architects in 1992, converted to residential use with 14 townhomes.
Brewery Creek building has 9' vaulted ceilings, exposed feature brick wall and a large loft area.
